Pets and their owners have a lot
of things in common.

But their insulin doesn't have to be
one of them.

Dogs and people don't share the same insulin, so why should their
diabetes treatment be the same? Vetsulin® (porcine insulin zinc
suspension), an insulin developed specifically for dogs with diabetes,
is an identical match to canine insulin. This offers dogs—as well as the owners and veterinary professionals who care for them—an ideal fit
for their diabetes management needs.

Important Safety Information

Vetsulin should not be used in dogs known to have a systemic allergy to pork or pork products, and is contraindicated during periods of hypoglycemia. Keep out of the reach of children. Animals presenting with severe ketoacidosis, anorexia, lethargy, and/or vomiting should be stabilized with short-acting insulin and appropriate supportive therapy until their condition is stabilized. As with all insulin products, careful patient monitoring for hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia are essential to attain and maintain adequate glycemic control and prevent associated complications. Overdosage can result in profound hypoglycemia and death. Please refer to the

package insert for complete product information.
